About BodyTalk
It is a holistic, consciousness-based healing system.
BodyTalk practitioners believe that all parts and systems in the body interacts with each other and are dependant on each other for their own functioning. For example, the digestive system cannot function properly without the cardiovascular, endocrine and muscular systems and so forth. It needs a whole lot of other systems and parts in order to function properly.
And going deeper than this level, BodyTalk is structured on the Dynamics system where every single atom, cell, organ and system of the BodyMind is in constant communication with each other, at all times. If we look at quantum physics, we will understand that all particles at an atomic level, is interconnected with and interdependent on the atoms around it. Every atom knows exactly what it needs to be and how it should function. So on that level, all is one and everything has the information of the whole because of that connection.
Our thoughts, emotions, and belief systems can influence how our body functions. Instead of only looking at physical symptoms, we also explore the deeper mental, emotional and energetic patterns that may be affecting the body’s health: Top-down causation of reality.
Innate wisdom is that inborn intelligence we are all born with, that guides all bodily processes from conception until death. Your body knows exactly how to do everything and function at its fullest potential. It is the built-in mechanism that initiates the healing processes in the body.
The Innate Wisdom is always present, but sometimes this can get blocked, overridden, or simply can’t be heard clearly. That’s when a BodyTalk practitioner can help to assist with getting rid of the interferences, so that you can do the healing.
What can BodyTalk help with?
BodyTalk can support a wide range of physical, emotional, and mental health challenges. This is because it doesn’t focus only on symptoms — it looks at the whole person: body, mind, emotions, and environment. Every part of us is connected, and when communication breaks down between these parts, symptoms or imbalances can appear.
BodyTalk can be done on pregnant women, babies, children, the elderly, animals, even plants. It is wonderful for children who feel overwhelmed and overstimulated, and for people with busy, stressful lives. BodyTalk helps athletes recover faster, prevent injuries, and perform at their best, inside and out.

How is BodyTalk done?
During a distance session, or even an in-person session, a BodyTalk practitioner will:
-
Tune into the client's innate wisdom using intention and focus.
-
She will use neuromuscular biofeedback on the client’s wrist (or on herself if it is a distance session) to get confirmation on what needs balancing. A BodyTalk protocol chart is used as a guide to pinpoint the priority for healing.
-
She then applies a specific tapping technique. This tapping helps to activate the body's self-healing mechanisms and restore balance to the systems that were out of alignment. Tapping is like pressing the ‘save’ button on your body’s internal computer.
-
Tapping on the head tells the brain to fix the specific faulty communication. Like giving your computer an instruction.
-
Tapping on the heart is like clicking the save button on the computer. It stores the changes that were made.
-
The navel represents the energy and communication systems throughout your body. It helps ‘distribute’ the healing message to exactly where it’s needed.
It’s like fixing a glitch in a system and then sending that repair message throughout the whole network. Once everything’s connected again, your body knows exactly what to do.
